I may have an old post about going vegetarian, but since that post it has probably been about 3 or more years since I was last vegetarian. Since then I’ve returned back to my carnivorous ways.
Due to some health issues I have given up my red meat intake. No more burgers, steak dinners, and carne asada fries. I’m okay with it, but I must be honest and say that I do miss it. On the brighter side of things, my health has improved and I’m sure my increased workouts with Muay Thai has been just as much a factor. This has been going on now for about 4 months and still going strong. The ongoing plan now is to phase out my chicken intake. It’s only been 1 day since this post that I’ve started to decreased my chicken ingestion.
Not exactly sure what sparked this revitalization of my past vegetarian quest, but I think I’m doing it better this go around in a way that is more sustainable and healthier than what I was doing back then.
Look out for more posts on my road vegetarianism!
In the meantime, enjoy the greenery…
Good luck! Becoming a vego is hard! If it was easy I would have done it long ago, good on you! 🙂
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it. I think this time around I’m going about it in a better way and now that I’m a full fledged dietitian…I probably have more knowledge/resources. I say you can still do it! Flexitarian/part time vegetarian is just as good…you’ll still get the health benefits and be benefiting animals and the environment. Thanks again!
