Huis Ten Bosch (ハウステンボス) | Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan

Just a very cool place to visit when in Japan. Take a look….

Above are just some of the pictures of Huis Ten Bosch (ハウステンボス). This was a pretty big place and is just like an amusement park, minus the roller coasters. However, there are 3D rides that were really fun. It was a beautiful place as well, but as you can see, the day we visited it was a bit gloomy and even drizzled throughout the day.

Below are the lights that were put on at night. These pictures don’t really do them justice, but it was awesome. From a bird’s eye view it created a river flowing down from the tower. So pretty!

Let’s get to some the food now…

Above is a sought after dish. The restaurant was packed and we were happy that they did not run out of this dish. This dish is called うちわ海老ちゃんぽん. It was my wife’s dish, but she said “it tastes like how it’s suppose to taste.” You can take that comment for what it’s worth. Haha!

This was a little and very cute cafe that we ran into called Nijntje Cafe (no clue how to pronounce that lol). It is based off a popular cartoon character named Miffy. Everything in the cafe is vegan too.

Brownie with a raspberry sauce and ice cream. Looks too cute to eat.

Curry, takoyaki, and random foods to dip in cheese that’s in bread….oh, and a heart-shaped churro in the top left corner 😉

This place I think is pretty amazing. I would say it is a must go to. It’s definitely a spot to go to if you’re on a date. Just ask my wife 😉 lol

Hope you enjoyed!
