Just a quick share of a snack I picked up recently at Uwajimaya…

I’m pretty much a sucker for anything that’s “limited edition” or maybe only sold in certain areas or stores and the Kit Kat flavor was no exception. I got it and haven’t eaten any more past this one in the picture above. It’s not really my cup of tea. It does have distinct sake or alcohol flavor and then added to that is a flowery taste, which I’m pretty sure is the sakura flavor. Overall, I’m glad I’ve tried it, but I won’t be getting it again.

Side note: the funny thing is, I’ve been to Japan around Sakura season and tried many things sakura flavored. I’ve tried things like a sakura flavored soda from McDonald’s, sakura flavored ice cream (Haagen Daz) from 7-11, and various other things and never really like them in the end. I fall for the gimmick every time. Hahaha!
