So this weekend me and my brother had to head out to LAX airport to pick up our dad and since we were out there we decided to drop by this taco spot…
This is the outside of Guisados. It’s right on the corner of the street so you can’t miss it. Parking, just like any other place in L.A. is always a bit of a challenge, but we managed.
This is the front of the shop and where you will do your ordering. Down near the bottom of the menu there is an option called The Sampler. If you don’t know what tacos to choose, I recommend going with this option (and that’s what they recommended as well). You can get any combination, but the seafood options are off limits (sad). Anyways, let’s get to the food!
This was my sampler. In the very front is mushroom (moving back), next is the bistek, tinga, steak picado, mole poblano.
This right here (above) was my brother’s Sampler. Not sure what choices he got, but the different tacos he had from mine were the chicharron and the cochinita pibil. You may notice that there is no avocado on any of his tacos. Sadly and very unfortunately, my brother is allergic to avocados. Crazy! oh well. He still very much enjoyed these tacos 😉
Just another shot of my Sampler. Behind the mushroom taco is the squash taco. Delicious! I have to add that the corn tortillas are made fresh and they are SO GOOD.
If you find yourself in Los Angeles, check this place out. I’d go as far as to say this is probably a must.
