One of my beliefs about food is that it not only nourishes us biologically, but also mentally. Besides the fact that we need to eat to stay alive, coming in a very close second for reasons why food is important is the social aspect of eating. This meal below is one that I shared with my coworkers (also known as my friends) after a conference we attended. It was a time I got to know more about the people I see everyday outside our profession. It’s nice to know more about the people who surround you day in and day out AND to let them know more about ME.
Anyways, now that I got that out of the way, let’s get to the food…
Chicken Embajador. Huge portion sizes.
Soup of the day. Sorry I don’t remember the name, but it was some type of carrot cream soup. Either way, it was delicious!
When we came in we were the only ones in the restaurant, but it soon filled up. Service was very friendly and staff was very attentive. A little too attentive, but that was probably because we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. The spot is small and it can get cramped if you go during busy hours. Prices were a little pricey, but reasonable.
If you ever find yourself in Orange, California and craving some Cuban food, try Felix Continental Cafe. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the food along with some great company.
