Do you know why they are displayed at the shrine? Reply I apologize, but I’m not quite sure exactly why they are displayed in that manner. From my own research they are type of offering. The Fox is believed to be a deity and the offerings are for the messengers to plead on the worshipers behalf. (if you or anyone can correct me, please do). Thanks again! Reply Thanks!
