Looks cold but clear as for the smog we hear so much about. Were there many security people visible?
It was below zero that day and there were guards all around? I spent most of my time in Hangzhou and the whole time never saw blue sky until I went to Beijing. The smog is real.
How did the people react towards you? Open, cautious, curious, you know that kind of thing.
My experience is a little biased cause I’m Asian (filipino). Got mistaken for Chinese a couple of times. So I kind of “assimilated” rather quickly. But as for the people who I had to work with and interact with…they were so welcoming! One of the kindest people I’ve ever come across. Love the culture…adore the people.
